We do not sell your personal data to anyone, under any circumstances.
We do not share your personal data outside Elpido for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose unrelated to service delivery.
We disclose personal data only in the following limited, necessary circumstances:

|---|---|---|
| Payment processor (e.g., Razorpay/RazorpayX) | To process Customer payments and Partner payouts | Payment details necessary to complete the transaction |
| Cloud hosting / infrastructure providers | To securely store and operate the Platform | Data stored is encrypted; providers act only as data processors under contract, not independent users of the data |

| Background verification agencies | To conduct Partner police/reference verification | Partner identity and address details |
| Document-issuing authorities, banks, or verification services | To confirm that an ID, address proof, certification, or bank/UPI detail submitted to us is genuine and belongs to the submitting individual | Only the specific document/detail being verified, shared solely for verification purposes |
| Between matched Customer and Partner | To enable safe and effective service delivery | Name, contact number, service address, and relevant service instructions (e.g., child's allergy information) — limited to what is necessary for that specific booking |
| Law enforcement / government authorities | Only where legally required (e.g., court order, statutory request, or to protect the safety of a child or individual) | Limited to what is legally mandated |
| Professional advisors (auditors, legal counsel) | Under strict confidentiality obligations | Limited to what is necessary |
All third parties listed above are bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations and are permitted to use the data only to perform the specific service for which it was shared — they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes, and Elpido does not receive any payment or benefit for sharing this data.
We will never share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or any party seeking to purchase user data.

Our Website and Apps may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep you logged in, and understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser or device settings. We do not use cookies to sell data to advertisers.
10. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Where any data processor (e.g., a cloud hosting provider) stores data on servers located outside India, such transfer will only occur to jurisdictions permitted under the DPDP Act and subject to contractual safeguards equivalent to those required under Indian law. Currently, Elpido stores all user data on servers located within India [Google : asia-south1 (Mumbai)].
